Community Sustainable Living – Valhalla Movement

We are not a protest – we are a spolution

This is a project aiming at developing and documenting Open Source solutions to Community Sustainable Living and Urban Farming. They are using crowd funding sources very successfully to get community support. All in all a good model for similar minded people on how you can fund something you believe in.

Urbsly – open seeds catalog

This certainly looks like a crowd-funding project deserving support ! Urbsly’s first goal is to compile an open data catalog of seed varieties. Creating an open data set that anyone can use and build upon begins to make it much easier for gardeners and farmers to find the plant varieties available from independent seed companies that will grow well for them, reducing their reliance on the agribusiness giants.
